Workpad Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the Workpad Chrome extension, optional Workpad account, cloud sync, and paid subscription services. Workpad is operated by ChocolateMinds (“we”). Contact ai@chocolateminds.com.
Using Workpad
You must use Workpad lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass limits, access another person’s data, or misuse third-party services. You are responsible for the webpages, notes, instructions, and API credentials you choose to process.
AI results
AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Evidence links help inspection but do not guarantee accuracy. Review important results and do not rely on Workpad as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice.
Your data
You retain ownership of your notes. You grant Workpad only the limited rights needed to provide features you explicitly enable, such as cloud sync. Local notes remain on your device; cloud sync is optional and is not end-to-end encrypted. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Third-party services
Workpad AI uses OpenAI, sign-in uses Google, and accounts and billing use Supabase and Stripe, each under their own terms.
AI credits
Workpad AI use is measured in monthly credits based on the amount of text processed and generated. Each plan includes a monthly allowance; unused credits do not roll over. Allowances may change with notice, and Workpad may pause AI temporarily to protect the service.
Subscriptions
Workpad Pro renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel through Manage billing in Workpad. Access continues through the paid period unless the service or applicable law requires otherwise. Refunds follow the published Refund Policy.
Availability and liability
Workpad is provided with reasonable care but without a promise of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, Workpad is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or loss caused by unreviewed AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use
You may stop using Workpad at any time. Settings lets you export notes, delete your account, or reset local data. We may restrict abusive use or end the service with reasonable notice where practical.
Changes
Material changes will be published with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
